Overview
The Annapurna Circuit is one of the world’s great long-distance treks: climate zones shift from terraced fields and rhododendron forest to the arid Kali Gandaki gorge. The high point is Thorong La at 5,416m — higher than Everest Base Camp — with a long descent to Muktinath and optional finish via Ghorepani or flight from Jomsom. Allow proper acclimatization in Manang before crossing the pass.
